Playground

The Playground is an interactive testing environment where you can search and chat with your Knowledge Bases directly in the Triage dashboard. Use it to verify your setup, test search quality, and explore how your AI agents will respond before deploying to production integrations.

Features

Ask

Chat with your Knowledge Base using natural language. Ask questions and get AI-powered answers that synthesize information from your connected Knowledge Sources. Follow-up questions preserve context throughout the conversation.

Limitations

  • Chats are not persisted: The Playground does not save chats or allow you to access them in a later session. Once you navigate away or close the browser window, the chat will no longer be accessible.
  • Single session scope: Each session is independent. If you need to reference a previous conversation, take notes or screenshots during your testing.

This is different from cloud chat apps like ChatGPT or Gemini, but it is by design. The Playground is meant for testing that your setup is working correctly and ensuring the quality of results—not for production support workflows.

Search

Query your Knowledge Sources directly and browse through matching results. Useful for exploring what data is available and verifying that your content is properly indexed.

Summarize

Coming soon. Summarize threads and conversations while referencing your available knowledge.

Draft Response

Coming soon. Generate response drafts based on your Knowledge Base content.

Production Usage

For production support workflows, integrate your Knowledge Bases with workplace and helpdesk apps like Slack, Zendesk, or other supported platforms. In these integrations:

  • Chats are persisted and accessible later
  • Conversations are tied to tickets or threads
  • Your team can collaborate on responses
  • Full audit trails are maintained

The Playground is your testing ground—integrations are where the real work happens.
