Triage + ChatGPT

Connect Triage to ChatGPT and chat with your enterprise data. Search institutional knowledge, get resolution steps, and reference source articles directly from ChatGPT.

Overview

Integrate Triage with ChatGPT to search across your institutional knowledge directly from ChatGPT's interface. Ask questions about technical issues, get suggested resolution steps, and reference source articles from your internal systems.

Prerequisites

  • ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise account with access to developer mode
  • Triage account with admin permissions to create knowledge bases
  • At least one connected and synced knowledge source in Triage

Instructions in ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT and enable Developer Mode in your settings
  2. Go to Apps and click Create App
  3. Paste the MCP URL from Triage (obtained in the next section)
  4. Enter a name for your knowledge base connector
  5. Click Create and complete the OAuth authentication when prompted
  6. Once authenticated, your knowledge sources will appear in the app configuration page

Instructions in Triage

  1. Log in to your Triage dashboard
  2. Navigate to Knowledge Sources and confirm your sources are connected and live
  3. Go to Knowledge Bases and create a new knowledge base linked to your relevant sources
  4. Once creation completes, click the MCP button on your knowledge base
  5. Open the OAuth tab and copy the MCP URL
  6. Paste this URL into ChatGPT's app creation form

Next Steps

Once configured, your ChatGPT can access your enterprise knowledge sources via Triage. When chatting, ensure your Triage connector is enabled, then start asking questions about your enterprise data.
